The Wesleyan is hiring Registered Nurses to work at our Home Health Community to serve the Killeen, Harker Heights, and Copperas Cove Areas.

Essential Job Functions:
Assumes direct and indirect patient care responsibilities according to patient condition, physician orders and department policy.
Completes all required documentation, Clinical note, OASIS (eval, recert, transfer, discharge) communication note, case conference notes, physician orders in the time frame specified by policy.
Educates and promotes patient safety.
Provides skilled care according to the physician orders, policies and procedures and the nursing process.
Maintain clinical competency.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on age specific criteria.
Provide supervision and direction of patient care by LVN and CNA.
Complies with all appropriate reporting mechanism, ie.
Regulatory and intra-departmental.
Participates in Utilization Review, Quality Improvement activities and chart audits/reviews.
Adheres to personnel policies/procedures, i.
e.
dress code, correct mileage reporting and documentation, professional work ethics.
Attends and/or participates in mandatory department requirements:
Annual Fire Drill, Health screen & TB Testing, License Renewal, Blood and Body Fluids, Emergency Preparedness, General Safety, Airborne Transmission, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, Fall Prevention and Infection Control.
Is a team player, strives to work harmoniously with other members of the team, shows interest in learning new skills and procedures, and demonstrates a genuine interest in Home Health, department productivity and its goals.
Makes his/her supervisor aware of problems/issues that may lead to poor workmanship and is willing to ask for assistance from the Employee Assistance Services (EAP) if and when necessary.
Is aware of customer satisfaction and the procedure and the process to follow for a complaint.
Is aware of agency's intention of providing high quality patient care which is demonstrated by the following:

Creates a Positive First Impression Qualifications &
Experience:
Must have current Texas driver's license and auto insurance in accordance with state requirements.
Must have unexpired Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Texas.
Prefer a minimum of three (3) years' experience as a social worker, including at least one (1) year of experience in home health care.
Must have a current Cardio Pulmonary Recitation Card (CPR) issued by recognized provider such as American Heart Association or American Red Cross that includes hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment.
Must have reliable transportation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
