Motivates staff to always serve and meet the need of each guest.
Oversees daily duties and any projects, ensuring satisfactory completion.
I.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing Shop operational and personnel policies and procedures.
4.
Maintains Shop staff by recruiting and selecting, new staff.
Train new retail staff members on all Shop Policy and procedure.
5.
Evaluate and train staff on proper operation of all software, programs, & point of sale system.
6.
Maintain shop culture, look, and presentation of our shops.
Act as quality control agent making sure products, shop appearance, and staffing are supporting our mission and values.
7.
Proficient in replenishing shop floor and assist merchandiser in changing shop inventory by season.
8.
Collaborate with Shop Mentor and Inventory Manager to determine additional sales promotions by reviewing sales data and researching competing vendors.
9.
Work with Director of Operations to achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing financial statements in order to analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
10.
Train staff on product vendors.
Choose two-three vendors bi-monthly and educate all retail staff on their stories, merchandise and how to communicate the products elements to customers.
11.
Train shop staff on proper selling techniques and model these techniques at all times on the sales floor.
12.
Plan and create monthly Staff shift schedule.
Receive all staff requests by the 15th of prior month, the schedule should be completed by the 18th and sent to Director of Operations and when approved sent to the staff by the 24th of each month.
13.
Communicate with Shop Staff effectively and efficiently a) Daily Teams, b) send Weekly Newsletter to Shop Staff each Monday at 10am, c) Schedule Monthly Shop Meeting in coordination with Director of Operations 14.
Makes adjustment for staff hours not reported properly.
Approves ADP bi-monthly for payroll.
15.
Set priorities for staff and manage work goals to accomplish the strategic objectives as set by Shop Mentor.
16.
Oversee and assist staff assigned to Online orders, making sure they are fulfilled and mailed in a timely manner.
17.
Work with Shop Mentor in the planning and execution of the annual Junior League Christmas Affair.
18.
Responsible for the complete execution of all events in BiG Shop and SND with collaboration of Director of Operations, Shop Mentor, Cafe Manager and Mission Advancement staff.
19.
Collaborate with the Shop Mentor to coordinate special events in the Shop and SND, including pop-up events, trunk shows and late-night shopping events.
20.
Recruit and train Shop Volunteers on systems, policies, and procedures.
Communicate with Volunteers regarding all scheduling and events.
21.
Collaborate with Mission Advancement, Social Media staff and Shop Mentor to coordinate posts for Shop merchandise and events.
22.
Collaborate with Inventory Manager to promote current and new Citizen enterprises in the Shop.
23.
Collaborates with Shop Citizen Supervisor, Program Campus Lead, and Shop Mentor to effectively implement and execute plan to educate and train staff, coordinate and continually improve Citizen Engagement in Shop.
24.
Meet on a regular basis with the Shop Mentor and Operations Director with reports on any staff needs or issues that need addressing.
