Position SUMMARY The Client Services Specialist ensures that STARRY clients have high quality services for crisis intervention.
This role is essential in meeting FAYS contract expectations for on-call and emergency shelter services.
This role will be essential in evaluating client eligibility and fit for services through initial phone calls and gathering pertinent information required for services provided by STARRY, within contract(s) expectations.
This role also ensures adherence to ethical codes and best practice in the field.
This role reports to and interacts with STARRY staff, Team Supervisors and Directors.
Additionally, this position must understand and support the greater mission of STARRY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SKILL BASED COMPETENCIES Provide leadership for the following:
Along with other team members, be responsible for on-call phone Monday 8am-Friday 5pm weekly (24 hours/day) Answer incoming calls for STARRY services daily Complete intake calls for all STARRY offices Assess for client safety and complete assessments as necessary (C-SSRS, Safety plans, CSE-IT) Provide de-escalation, support, and referral resources as needed Provide in-person crisis services and placements as needed Greet and clearly communicate STARRY services to clients in person or on the phone Be available to assist staff when crisis situations occur in the offices Assist with intake sessions as needed Participate in weekly team meetings Be available to participate in in-person meetings as needed Use excellent customer service skills to represent STARRY and meet the needs of clients Communicate effectively with Team Supervisors to get clients assigned to providers Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience in crisis intervention Must possess good written, verbal, social media, and electronic communication skills Able to organize, file, and retrieve information Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and network effectively Excellent problem-solving skills, flexibility, and out-of-the-box thinking Ability to manage crisis situations with professionalism and precision Understanding of State contract Strong skills in Excel and ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Records programs Team player willing to pitch in as needed to support offices Excels at operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and diverse workplace Very strong attention to detail Must be computer literate with ability to maintain records electronically Must be self-motivated with good organizational and time management skills Strong client care capabilities, and ethical documentation and practice.
Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed Must have confident and friendly demeanor- capable of effectively working with staff and leadership Approved criminal background report.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
